It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Old Days is nearly here. We are counting down the days to the 2024 Old Days Celebration and rest assured when I say that a lot of time, effort, and heart has been put into this year’s event. Thank you to everyone that has contributed to the success of Old Days. There are a lot of new events this year and opportunities for people of all ages to have some fun so make sure you check the schedule and the map in the book!
Thank you to Kristy and Anita for serving up dinner in August, it was perfect for a warm summer night. In August we hosted a Bingo fundraiser for the Righetti FFA and it was such a successful event!
Thank you to EVERYONE that contributed to our club clean up day on September 1. There was a lot of work done to make things look good for Old Days as well as clearing up the creekside behind the club. Grateful is an understatement.
On September 22, Vitalant is hosting a blood drive in our parking lot. Because there is a critical blood shortage, they are hoping to have sixteen donors during the event, which lasts from 11am-3pm. Our monthly membership meeting will be held on September 19th and dinner will be potluck style. This month I will be serving up dinner with walking taco casserole or a DIY nacho bar. The bar will open at 5:30, dinner will be served at 6:15, and the meeting will start at 7:00. Reminder that this will be your last opportunity to buy drink cards before Old Days!

Yep, you read that right! We are hosting a CYO during Old Days again this year. You know the deal, dinner for members is $25 and guest's are $30. It is your choice of beef, chicken, or fish with sides. The bar will be open at 5:30, dinner will start at 6pm, and The Fossils will be playing LIVE. Old Days Volunteer Opportunities
In case you missed it last month, the Old Days Committee is in need of help during the weekend, September 27-29. As members, it is our duty to help the club be successful, and that includes making Old Days go off without a hitch! If every member signed up to help with one event, we would have everything covered in the blink of an eye. And by signing up for one event, it leaves the rest of your weekend free for celebrating!
