Wow, are we really halfway through the year?

The Cleavers served up a wonderful dinner at our June meeting, so hats off to them for making it happen! We are thankful for volunteers that make things happen around the club.

Speaking of volunteers, our new flag pole is (nearly) complete! We are working on the final touches so make sure you come by to check it out. Thanks to Jim and his crew for their hard work.

Our fearless bartender Zach will be serving dinner at our membership meeting on Thursday, July 18th. The doors will open at 5:30, dinner will be served around 6:15, and the meeting will start at 7:00. If I had to guess, I think there will be a lot of exciting updates about Old Days. We will also hear from the Righetti FFA Poultry team during the meeting. Join us!

Get Your Buck Contest Tickets!

Ray has the tickets for our fun new Friday night event- the BUCK contest! In case you haven’t heard of this before, it is an event that gathers local hunters to compete to see who has the biggest rack (horns of course). Everyone is welcome, even if you aren’t hunting. There will be live country music and dinner along with the contest. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased by contacting Ray (vicepresident@lavmc.org (805)868-8795)

THE FINAL OLD DAYS BINGO!

This month’s Bingo will be an Old Days Bingo! It has been rescheduled for NEXT Friday July 26th at the club.  Pre-sale tickets are available by contacting Shirley at (805) 478-0789 and will include 15 games with a Whiskey Bent BBQ sammy and chips! Support our efforts to keep Old Days on Bell AND have a fun night out,  the perfect combination!
